Very very excellent. Wonderful place. Feels very authentic and home-like. I never grew up in Japan, but somehow the environment felt very homemade and nice. The people there were friendly too! My favorite is takoyaki.
Great, authentic japanese food. They have different entrees. The place is not fancy but that doesn't matter. The food is very delicious, big meals, the employees are friendly.nHighly recommend it!!!
Japanese cafeteria that serves ramen and curry. Only the tall, lanky girl speaks English, otherwise knowing Japanese is highly recommended.nnEdit: In the two years-ish since I wrote this, the lanky girl has left, and it's run by a bunch of grandparents. They speak enough English to get by. The food is still fantastic.
I discovered this restaurant after copious amounts of searching for authentic Japanese cuisine. This is the closest I have found to restaurants I often ate at when visiting Tokyo and Hakone. Quite good. Very much love their Onigiri!
I love this place! They serve what is hands-down the best ramen I have had in the Novi area. The pork belly ramen is my favorite. The atmosphere seems unconventional (it is a giant, somewhat unfinished and very quirky space), but don't let that fool you. The food here is awesome, and the prices are good. The gigantic dining space actually feels a little bit safer during COVID because it is easier to distance from people. This is definitely a place worth checking out if you are into Japanese food at all.
