50 / 50 Camp ground host is 110% on top of all the rules, when I was at my spot all I herd was a constant golf cart racing after a vehicle for speeding or going the wrong way, I mean flying after the vehicle yelling out to fast slow down, or your going the wrong way. I’d constantly hear u can’t park there!!!!! Husband & wife team, we friended the hosts by being nice & come to find out its like a gossip trailer park, all my neighbors were nice to them & we were in the circle right off the back & when someone did something wrong outside of the friendly circle it’s was an automatically drive the golf cart to each camp site & tell all the people who were nice to you or in the circle. Don’t get me wrong I only said hello & I was kind. somehow that got me on the good side of the hosts. The wife are last day came flying over to us after the DNR officer left & said the guy on the four wheeler received a ticket, I didn’t even have to say anything & she went on & on explaining that she warned him 3 times about riding the four wheeler on the camp grounds, she then said he claimed no English so they grabbed someone who spoke Spanish & then they claimed no Spanish. Just beware of the host one minute it’s calm & next minute she’s call DNR on you for loud music before 10pm. As long as u keep to yourself & respect others especially after 10pm you’ll do great. Bathroom, showers, hot water. All of the amenities are full of spiders & mosquitoes. Spiders don’t bug me but when I shower & im bitten by mosquitoes that’s a problem because I’m at my most vulnerable. Host does sell wood for $5 bundle or ice $3 each or 2 for $5. Grass is horrible & dry, lots of stickers, bad for dogs depending on your camp site, constantly check your dogs paws. This side also rents the glamping trailers for $125 per night, with $25 per night refundable if it’s clean after u leave.

Paid at the gate for site with full RV hookups to find that Campground was closed for the season. Which meant we overpaid $15 to camp at a basic, no hookup site. As other reviewers mention, camp hosts are too involved - she knocked on our door at 10pm to ask if we paid, instead of just looking on the dash at the paper proof our payment. Otherwise, it was windy and noisy from highway, but is a nice, clean place to stop especially if you sleep in your vehicle. Can't comment on activities, as we only slept there.

We wanted to drive through the campground to see if we'd like it there. When getting to the gate she told us $20 to enter, we asked even just to drive through and check out the area for future camping and she said anyone entering had to pay $20. I get charging people, but $20 just to drive through....pretty ridiculous. We probably won't ever stay here since we can't check out spots. 👎

This place is vast and it is fun has a big sized lake and decently close to the camp. The only thing though is that it is open not a problem for some people I just wanted to mention that.

The beach was well taken care of. And watched over. We felt safe and had fun. It was very beautiful there as well
