My Dad and I buy alot of guns not many from Dunhams . My Dad who is a Veteran but can't read well they refused to sell to him stating I need to bring three other people besides him one to read the app. And two to sign as witnesses. They said they can't read it to him. I usually but the gun we hunt and shoot together guns stay it my possession. But because I called and asked the day before if this was the right gun they wouldn't sell it to me either. Together we have bought over a dozen guns in the last year LEGALLY BUT never again from these people.

04/14/21 @ 9:30amThe blonde heavy set manager Rachel denied me service because she discriminated the person I was with. The person I was with is just from the area giving me advice about what gun would be best to get. He was going to leave because while they did paperwork I needed to buy my family all of their baseball cloths and gear. She insisted we both fill out paperwork before even answering any questions. Once my friend said he was leaving she lifetime banned me from buying guns at Dunham’s. I then tried to at least look at a few to buy elsewhere and she denied me service. This woman should not be working with the public! Dunham’s just lost a lot of money and 2 loyal customers. I drove 2 hours to Lapeer to buy this particular gun via referral.

They violate Michigan scanner law and the management is a joke would not fix the price on advertise item on Dunham's website for cheaper saying that prices just changed doesn't matter. Due to Michigan scanner law you can not sell things for over advertise price. It is illegal I will be calling corporate and reporting the incident Also the individual that runs the firearm counter is extremely rude and I will never spend another dollar in that store again not one cent. If it wasnt for the rude employees i would leave it alone but according to him he can do whatever he wants'Screw the law And the customers.

Nice new store, smaller than the old one, but seems to have pretty much everything the old store had.

The office manager Rachel was very rude and unprofessional. My friend wanted to look at guns. I told her about the store (she live far away). She drove all the way to lapeer just to be denied even looking at them because i didnt want to give I.D. and wasnt apart of anything and was going to leave after giving advice. I didnt want to stick around because she had to buy her family base ball gear for schools(everything from pants bats balls gloves helmets) Once seeing how rude Rachel the manager was i made my friend leave. Dunhams lost out on alot of money and 2 returning customers.
