Our waitress Nicole was amazing! Answered all of our questions and helped us select incredible food! The sushi was top notch and the hibachi beef was delicious!

Sushi was good but I don't enjoy being stolen from.nnA buddy and myself went out to celebrate a successful week of stocks and I spent around $86.XX on sushi (after tax), I rounded it up to a solid $90. The only proof I went there was my picture of the food (I threw out the receipt). Today I am looking at my bank account and see I was charged $100 for my meal.nnThe waiter decided that these college kids didn't tip him enough and charged me an extra $10.nnSo I'm not happy about this, and I can't really go there with receipt in hand because I don't have the receipt. I'm not sure the person's name but he looked to be around 19-22 years old. So if you got a young waiter just watch out for your money.

I don't go here often, but I would if I were closer. I'm from Chicago. My sister and her family frequently eat here, as she lives in Grand Rapids. I ordered food for my nephews, when I got it home, one nephew got his side salad, but not his main dinner. Manager was super nice! Apologized and offered replacement right away. When I went back, it was ready very quickly. Thank you for following good business practices...it will keep people (including me:)) coming back.

Jaku is a good spot, don't get me wrong: just don't order the Eel, in anything. They leave the skin and fins attached, making for a much slimier mouthfeel than you would expect, a fishier taste, and of course you run the risk of gagging on the fin. After three separate times getting a fin, even after specifically requesting they remove them when I ordered, I've given up ordering anything Unagi off of their menu. Nothing turns my stomach like a hard, fishy piece of fin that almost makes me vomit when I crunch into it.
