Decided to support the restaurant after seeing and hearing mixed reviews and following their journey. By far its an inspiration to open in such a economically challenging environment as Flint, but with that comes the cost of offering the best food and service so the business remains vital. At least this should drive the success. The food and service must be top notched no matter in a pandemic or when everything normalizes.nnI called specifically for the chicken wrap and was told it wasn’t available so I decided to support in some way and ordered the New York Strip and Shrimp Alfredo. The steak was tough/dry for medium well, which I order from other restaurants that are moist and tender. The pasta had no flavor and the smallest shrimp on the market, which for the price should offer at least medium like their competitors and definitely flavor.nnFinally, I always support based on advertising and marketing. If the menu says it’s offered, then saying it isn’t available is just not acceptable, esp a simple chicken wrap.nnLastly if the food (in terms of taste, amount, availability) isn’t consistent with the pictures of the food used for marketing. It’ll only work for first time customers but almost never guarantee repeat customers. Wishing nothing but the best however, I’m sure there will be continual improvement.

Not much of a “fine dining” experience as I expected for the type of restaurant. Just seemed like poor leadership/management the day I was in, which also might be contributed to getting use to 50% dining capacity again.nBUT, the food was fantastic!! Well worth the wait!nHighly suggest the chicken strips for an appetizer and the Surf and Turf burger for an entree!

What awesome food and service, this is refreshing. Food piping hot, great selection of beers, really pleasant staff. Made to feel very uncomfortable by the security guard for being “out of place” as he described me, white in a black owned business. “How long are you planning to stay” and followed in to the rest room, and told to “sit down.”. Great bar and restaurant,

So we wanted to experience a restaurant from our home town. First off our server was great. He was the best thing ever. Everything you want in a server, he was just that. Outstanding!!nBut other than that we went on Superbowl Sunday. We expected a little wait. But our drinks order from the bar and food took hour and a half at least to get them both, no exaggerating. Our server kept us aware of what was going on the with our food. Not one time did manager come to our table. I asked a few patrons if they seen mangnament, they haven't. This place is a joke. The food is overprice. It's more of a hangout for the owners friends. Don't do it.

I was impressed with the food and service. I applaud this new business for being able to open during a pandemic and provide a quality product under pressure. I have seen improvements with every visit. Let's me know the owners are committed to providing a legacy business for the area. Price was on par for food. I would go everyday.
