Nice walking trail that's almost a mile long. Terrain goes from smooth to slightly rooted. There's some standing water in the spring. This is private property that's managed by the Orono Land Trust.
Nice walking path. Went near dusk, we were the only people there.
The davis conservation trails have always provided a secluded trail system away from the hustle of the college town of Orono. It's a quiet, yet surreal trail system that hovers at the boundary beyond the imagination. It's truly a phenomenal trail system that helps you discover yourself as you work on thinking about what you are doing with your life.
Not the longest trail out there to walk but it was well maintained. Great trail to hit on a hot day as it's all in the woods.
Full of walking trails and fun spaces for mountain biking, this location has many offerings for both casual walkers and those looking for a much longer hike. Get outside and have some fun, and see the animals and plants native to the area in a setting that makes you feel like you're in the woods but someone added gravel trails.
