It's a gem! Please respect our priveledge to enjoy spectacular beauty. Be responsible, leave it as you find it. Carry out your trash and park in designated spaces. The landowners could eliminate access if we don't respect their property.
The Elmer Hart Lane entrance has a parking lot and easier access. It's a beautiful open (no shade!) walk through a blueberry field and is ok for strollers. The path gets narrower as you go further and if you choose to go all the way through, you'll find yourself in the woods over very bumpy and rooted ground. The Jackson St. entrance does not have a parking lot, and you're almost not sure if you can even enter as there is little to indicate that it's a public trail, and there is a chain going across the road for no vehicle access. There is also a very steep incline on that side, and at some points you feel intrusive because you can see someone's backyard. I wouldn't recommend a stroller on this side. I have yet to go the entire length, so I don't know what awaits in the middle or how long the full walk is.
