Great trail to go hiking on.nnMake sure you get out before dusk. Closing Is posted on the entrance sign & they are there closing the gate right at that time.
A really cool hidden gem. Wonderful nature trails closer than one might expect
Great place with shorter trails, great for kids. Been wanting to see if they still have the taxidermy specimens they had in the visitors center but it wasn't open during the posted hours.
Mum at the bog. She has been visiting since they opened. We returned after a few years. Lovely as ever! You can see how happy she is, too!
Great place for a 3 mile hike! Lots of different birds. The short nature trail is fun but the metal platform that you walk on is too noisy and alerts the wildlife.
