Everything is fine there. Fast efficient I just don’t give 5 stars as no one is perfect. But it’s the only place I’ve gone for 15-20 years. Waiting room is pretty basic but they get you in and out quickly and don’t pressure you to buy add on stuff they just let you know and see the filters etc and decide for yourself. And they are always helpful with rebates and applying discounts if applicable.
My husband and I love this place. We've been going there for at about 15 years. They do a great job and let us know when there's a rebate on something, getting all the papers together and ready to send in.nnThey let us know when filters and things like transmission fluid needs a change and show us why - no hard sell. They give us the coupon price even if we forget the coupon. It's quick, great, and we trust them.nnWe've never had even one problem.
I trust them! I've been going there for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They have always given me top notch service. I now live in Wisconsin but I drive back to Fox Lake for my oil changes.nnI recently went back again for an oil change at 177,000 miles and they check fluids and tire air pressure. A technician named Raymond filled my tires with air and alerted me that my front left tire was at only 24 pounds. My sensor hadn't activated, so I was happy to learn I needed to watch this tire and get it fixed, if necessary. He also observed and reported to me that my right rear brake caliper was not working properly as the rotor was mostly rusted. He also explained what the likely cause was. This is an example of the great service I have always received at DipStick. Raymond exceeded my expectations for service and deserves a raise in pay! I love DipStick service.
Good place to go for a quick oil change. They did try to hit me with the you need an air filter and a cabin air filter. But they showed them to me and I really did need filters. And to my surprise they weren't trying to charge me an arm and a leg to put in the filters and they were a decent quality filter too. The staff were not pushy like they are at jiffy lube or some other place and they're friendly and personable I recommend this place definitely.
This is the first time here and will definitely come back! You have a new customer. The technician even told me that whoever did the oil change last did not put the dipstick back in. That was the ford dealer! Thank you for great service and professionalism. I'll be back!
