Rick has a relaxed focus on helping you achieve individual results based on your learning style. No pressure, just gentle reminders, including an occasional replayed video from past lessons, to help establish positive growth. He works on small incremental building blocks while keeping you moving towards longer term game improvements. He has the ability to teach you how to quiet your mind and relax while maintaining focus on how to better enjoy the game. You will be missing an exceptionally wonderful golfing experience if you FAIL to take lessons with Rick.
Rick Bell, golf instructor – reviewnRick seems to be able to recognize each person’s learning style and plans his instruction accordingly. For me, this was concrete, sequential and logical. This approach made understanding the concepts very comfortable. In addition to understanding learning styles, Rick adjusts his instruction to accommodate special situations such as a bad back, knee, etc. Rick is an excellent communicator and when this is coupled with his positive approach and continuous encouragement, lessons are enjoyable and productive. I very much enjoyed and benefited from every golf lesson I've had with Rick Bell over the years. I know this to be true because I have detailed notes from each lesson and I consult them when my schedule prevents me from contacting Rick in person. Rick's amazing professional knowledge and engaging personality make his lessons targeted and enjoyable. Of course I would be a much more successful golfer if I just followed his advice to practice regularly. I do usually make reasonable efforts to follow his suggestions, but I refuse to return the old driver he provided me; it is now the most dependable club in my bag! Thanks Rick! I went to Rick the first time because I wanted to get more distance. He took a look at my swing and explained to be distance will come with proper form. Very patiently he help me address the ball correctly, have a relaxed grip, and follow through no matter what club I am using. My game has improved and I’m enjoying the game more.
Over a number of years, I have had many golf lessons with Rick Bell. Rick’s knowledge of the game is extensive and impressive, but his teaching methods and style are relaxed and non-confrontational. From putting & short game to long irons & driving, I can highly recommend Rick Bell, whether you need a single lesson or several. Great Instructor!
