In the middle of the Palatine downtown area, this park is a nice relaxing stop as you peruse around town. The gazebo is a great place to sit down and take in the sights of the surroundings. Well maintained flowers litter the park and litter itself is nowhere to be seen. There were a lot of bees around trying to have a taste of my ice cream but they didn’t seem to aggressive. Being allergic to bees, I would usually freak out, but not here. Just minutes from the train station, this is a nice location to decompress.
Beautiful Palatine Town square! Kids love running around the Christmas Tree.
Very nice little area, lots of benches and tables, clean and with a very short walk to My Flavorite Place ice cream cafe'!
Neat little park off the Metra stop. Covered area to relax and have a snack. Nice view of the downtown area.
Love this place ❤ I'm a local and have lived more than 2 decades in Palatine. It's a great community spot, but also a great spot to go walk around, enjoy flower scenery (when in season), and great place for memories! This is where my fiance asked me to be his girlfriend and also where he proposed :). Great place for walks or to sit and chat/ have a bite to eat (during nice weather).
