Great bird watching park. I really wish there were more place like this, too few people truely understand the majesty of birds. I would even go so far as to say they are the fish of the sky floating magically in the clouds but 10/10 park. Will return the next time I am in the area.
This is pretty much an entrance to Centennial Trail which is paved for biking. Not sure what novel birds would be there, and its pretty cramped for parking and not very peaceful for a nature habitat. Sorry!
Nice place to hike and fish. Please, please pick up your trash.
Travel eastward down the ol trail, in about .3 miles ye will find nesting herons high up in the tree tops along the river. Such a beautiful sight. Turn back before ye witness Mother Nature taken by chemical factories.
Goldfinches, falcons, occasional bluejays, herons, cranes, and cardinals. Worth a trip
