Very nice local gem hiking area located between Hoffman Estates and Barrington. Younghusbands parking area is off Palatine rd just east of Algonquin rd. There are spots for handicap parking and a large turnaround. There isn't a restroom at this location.nnEnjoy your day, have a nice walk and don't forget your camera.
Oh so peaceful and well maintained. A gem in our iron jungle
Beautiful preserve with natural marsh, waterfowl nests and flying predators like falcons and hawks. Perfect opportunity to watch them in nature. Don't forget to take your binoculars.
