The food was fine. It's Jimmy Johns, pretty much the same everywhere. I give it one star for the guy prepping the bread. I was completely grossed out watching him. He was putting frozen bread on a pan I assume to thaw and then bake. He was not wearing gloves and went from the bread to the phone to the register, wiped his hands on his apron a couple of times, folded the empty box from the bread, opened another box and continued on. Additionally he had to touch every loaf of bread multiple times as he counted them to make sure there were the correct amount on the pan. Covid or no covid that is just not sanitary.
Always good, consistent, high quality sandwiches prepared by a friendly, professional staff. Clean restaurant, restrooms and parking lot. My wife loves the Turkey Tom, I'm a Big John (roast beef) kind of guy.
Made my sandwich quickly and the way I like it... enough said!
Ordered here a few times since moving here, beats Champaign. Awesome experience every time. Bread fresh even during slow periods. Way to follow the books team. You're doing it right. Rock those peak scores.
Jimmy Johns was my favorite sub carry out place. We travel by car lot and often stopped at the one in Tuscola IL. Now I won’t consider stopping there. Corporate has a new policy of turning the restrooms into unisex facilities. It’s disgusting. Using a bathroom where I have to deal with a sticky floor in front of the toilet while I look at a urinal is beyond ok. Funny thing is I know someone else who would often frequent this Jimmy Johns and they we telling me the same thing about their experience with this new unisex rest room. I’ll now make Culver’s my go to place while driving.
