Nice park I take my dog there all the time

Definitey not a bad spot for picniking, fishing, or just walking around hanging out. As far as swimming goes I'm not 100 percent sure you can swim here. So you may want to look for signs before you enter the water here for a fun day in the sun. Kind of a difficult spot to fish. I have most certainly caught bluegil, bass, and channel catfish. But it is my opinion there are many better places to fish in and around Cedar Rapids.

Its a great place to catch the fireworks.

I go here to fish with my brother sometimes and its always great. Unfortunately we don't usually catch much if anything but its still a great place to hangout and fish.

Boat ramp and Pavillion are good gathering places. The backroad to the gazebo needs some work
