Shaver Park

Nice park.nnThe disc golf course is pretty much gone. Only one hole has a basket. This park got hit hard from derecho and is gonna take a while yet to clean up.nnLuckily it didn't look like the playground area got hit to hard.

So quiet. Nice playground equipment. Swings are very stable. Love this park

Quite decemated as of late september, tree falls blanket almost the entirety of the forrest area, and debri from a nearby appartment complex destroyed in the derecho of 2020 are found strewn about the more grassy zone. I wouldn't recommend playing the course, though you could try if you really want to since most if not all of the discgolf baskets are still up. Though be prepared to trek through very thick and slighty impassable vegetation. Walking/riding trail also quite impassable.

Nice frisbee golf course through the trees. Bring bug spray. I couldn't give 5 stars, because the signage for the holes and directions to the next tee were horrible or nonexistent.
