Miranda's Auto Sales & Repair

A single mother has been taking her vehicles to the same shop for years. Her air conditioning quit working so she took it to the same shop. They gave her a quote of $1,900 to fix her air conditioning. She mentioned it to me and I said let me take it to Miranda's and see what they say. They got it up on to the hoist and you can see by the picture that somebody had put the arms for the hoist on the AC and heater hose lines and squished them.. Miranda's called me to show the damage that was done by this other shop. This woman has a Chevrolet traverse with front and rear AC. There was a teeny teeny hole in the AC line and with a UV light you could see the dye they used to find the leak. They had never mentioned about the lines being squished. When I showed her the pictures she said that that other shop had sold her new tires and did brake work on that vehicle about in March. So $1,900 to fix the mistake that the other shop had caused. This vehicle also had a badly leaking rack and pinion which is your steering. The other shop had quoted her around $900 to fix it. Miranda said $450 for the same work and if the labor came out to be less that's what they would charge her. This is not a ad for Miranda's Auto Repair but a warning if you have repair work that needs to be done get estimates from couple of different repair facilities especially independently owned shops.

Good place to buy a car

Bought a 2009 Subaru Outback and customer service was awful. They seemed abrasive and unprofessional. The car barley lasted 3 weeks until the head gasket blew and car was bricked. Never will buy a car here again. Dangerous cars.
