If I could give Melissa more than a 5 star rating I would. My hair has been feeling amazing since Melissa has started treating it,she literally has gifted hands. I started going to Mel a little over a year ago. She is amazing and so is her work. I have dreads and seen the growth within a couple of months. She even colored my hair red which she did a phenomenal job doing. Would definitely recommend her to anybody looking to get their hair done not just dreads. Her work speaks for itself.
Mel became my stylist a little over a year ago and I am a loyal client now for life. She is attentive to my hair care needs, not just styling but ensuring the health and condition of my natural hair. I searched high and low for a hair professional who could manage my thick curly hair and I found it with Melissa. She listens to my wants and understands my needs. She even accommodated my scheduling preference. I look in the mirror daily and am reminded that developing a relationship with Mel was the best decision I have ever made.
I had been searching for a black owner hair salon for a while and Mel C. and her team always have me in and out on time, hair feeling fresh and clean and is now thriving. Great personalities and great service!
I have been dealing with damaged hair for years and been to see different stylists with horrible results. I heard about Mel C. From friends and family and had been following her work on social media. When I finally reached out and made my appointment I was amazed. She had immediate availability and when I met with her she sat down with me and we talked about my hair goals. Melissa is very friendly and professional. I never leave here upset. Since my first visit I have been back every 2 to 4 weeks. My hair since has been much healthier and easier to manage.
