Great place for kids
This is a great park. It has access to the greenway, disc golf, a huge playground with a big kids side and a little kid side, a pavilion with picnic tables, a very large dog park with separate big dog/little dog sides and a creek that dogs and kids like to swim in. I thought we'd have a hard time finding the dog park but if you look at the playground it's behind it. If facing the playground use the sidewalk that goes around the left side and it'll take you straight there. Just a bit of warning it does get very busy at this park especially on nice days. There is a lot of parking and even if it is full there usually is somebody leaving when you're coming.
Awesome place for a leisure walk with your dog and/family.nPaved walkways are wide enough for bikes to pass without worry.nThere are a few bridges crossing the Indian Creek where you can dip your feet in easy flowing streams. Even a rope swing for the more adventurous types.nBenches offer rest along the trail. I saw almost no trash on my 3 mile walk.nMake sure to take a water bottle for hydration- there are no water fountains.
This is a good park. It has a large playground for children, with one side for smaller kids and the other side for larger kids. There is a wonderful dog park and even a bathroom. The bathroom is always pretty clean and stocked with soap and paper towels. There is a large disc golf course and a beautiful walking path. The only down side to this park is some dog owners don't pick up after there dogs. I have seen dog poop left right on the walking path. Some dog owners also walk through the kids playground to get to the dog park, which you wouldn't think was a big deal but some of the dogs are not well behaved. Overall it is a good park, but could be great if some of the dog owners were more responsible with there pets.
Great park with tons of equipment. My three year old enjoyed it thoroughly. Would've loved to try out the frisbee golf course if I was there with a friend.
