Stopped in for lunch, just wanting to try the place. I had convinced myself in my head that it was an order at the counter rather than sit down restaurant, but it's the latter, not the former. Luckily, I don't mind eating alone.nnI'd describe Rolo's as a local Cracker Barrel. Lots and lots of generic country cooking dishes are available: meatloaf, chicken and dressing, etc. It's a moderate size restaurant with a fair amount of seating, and it was busy around lunchtime on a Tuesday. Crowd was mostly older folks.nnOne thing I was really impressed with was the service. The hostess got me seated right away, the cashier was pleasant when I payed my bill, and most of all, my waitress, Anita, was so nice and friendly. She took great care of me, bringing me a to-go drink before I even had to ask for it. Loved her!nnThe food, however, was just okay. I guess it was about what you'd expect. I had the chicken fingers, fries, and whole kernel corn, with a roll. Sweet tea to drink. The sweet tea was really good. The French fries were okay, fairly crispy but a little under salted and had a sort of weird greasy aftertaste. The chicken tenders were also okay, but again, kinda bland and stringy, not a ton of meat to them. Lastly, the roll was the Sister Schubert variety (which I don't mind at all, but I really needed more than one tiny carton of butter), and the corn was flavorless but for a faint saltiness. Not sweet at all, sadly.nnI sound harsh; the food wasn't terrible, and I'd go back to Rolo's if someone I was with wanted to visit. However, my meal was also around 11 bucks, 13 with tip, and I can get much better tenders and fries elsewhere for less -- same with country vegetables. On the whole, just a so-so experience. Big shout-out to Anita, though!

My server was amazing. The food was good. The hamburger is always my favorite. The chef salad looked great.

Best restaurant for home cooking in town, hands down by far the best place for Catfish. Not only am I a customer, I'm also a server here @ Rolos and I promise you'll get the best service any where around. That's a fact! ud83dudc4dud83dude03
