Friendly staff and good food. I thought the only thing to make it better would be a little desert. Then they pointed me to the desert bar in the corner that had apple cobbler! All this and never ending sweet tea, this maybe my new favorite spot...
Wonderful. Haven't had this great breakfast from a shoney's restaurant in a very long time. Staff were so friendly and personable. They made you feel at home. Staff seemed to really love working here and taking care of the customers. Rare find nowadays. Food was exceptional. Food was hot and fresh. Clean steam table. New food was added as needed. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!
We had the buffet. It was down home southern cooking. It was all fresh and tasty. They were not busy but it was early.nWe had a brand new server and she did great!.All the employees were friendly. The cook even came out to see if everything was good.
We were there around 1:15 this afternoon, March 1 , 2020. Breakfast items still on buffet. Lunch food item pans were empty, or almost empty. We ordered sweet tea, got unsweetened. They did bring some fried fish out. I had a couple of pieces, my husband had some baked chicken, he got food poisoning from it, he's still throwing up. Worst shoney's ever
Service is VERY poor, we had to leave... couldn't even order any food. Got the water, but no straws.... then after waiting a LONG while the server stopped at the two tables next to us TWICE ... still, no straws for us. As we were leaving, she came to table to ask if we were getting the buffet... still, no straws in hand. 20 minutes wait, only got to order water.
