my wife and i were driving east from Montgomery and stopped at American Deli in Union Springs today for the Philly Cheesesteak and it was awesome. it was actually too hot to eat when we got our order so we sat there in the car waiting for it too cool a bit. it steamed the windshield, it was so hot! the smell was so good while we waited but the taste was just fantastic. that was around noon and 12 hours later and now I'm planning a trip to the American Deli nearest to home this weekend for another!!
Food here is fantastic. Been working in the area and have gone here for lunch many times. Never had anything less than a great meal. Wings are some of the best I've had
While the service was great, food came out at decent time. But the food itself was left to be desired. Got the wings and Philly combo, the wings were over cooked and the bread of the Philly was not the right size for the amount of meat and topping that came on it. Fries were good though.
I'd give them less than one star if possible! I called in an order for a burger. I arrived to pick it up approximately 15 minutes later and paid for the order. They told me it wasn't ready but that it was on the grill. Waited another 5 minutes, still not ready. They told me it was on the grill and coming up. One problem. I CAN SEE THE GRILL!! THERE'S NO BURGER THERE!! At this point I will be late for work if I wait any longer. I requested a refund and was refused. Management was called and still refused. So, they took 14+ dollars from me and provided nothing in return!! You can call that whatever you want, but it will never happen to me again!
Love the fries...alot of meat on the burger but a good meal. Service is a little weird but overall ok.
