I was at this Bullock prison in late 2019 thru early 2020 then was transferred to pre release at Limestone correctional facility. I have been to Donaldson correctional facility (west Jefferson) which is a level 5 max prison and Bullock is hands down the most violent place I have ever been to. The first 30 min I was there I seen 3 different stabbing's . The amount of drugs there is unbelievable, and the corruption is spread throughout the entire prison it goes all the way from the Warden down to the maintenance man. Guards bring in ounces of methamphetamine to the high level gang members and they run that prison not the guards. It needs to be bulldozed to the ground and what's left set on fire!!!!!!

This has to be the worst prison I have ever had to visit. Visitors have to go to the gym which is not heated in the winter or cooled in the summer. The facility looks in very poor repair. On my visits I have seen bugs and when it rains the roof leaks. It takes forever to be checked in to visit. If the weather is bad there is nowhere to take cover while you are waiting to be let in. I have had to wait over an hour to get in after visiting hours have started. And it wasnt because there were that many people. They are just that slow! Over all this is a very poor place and to hear the inmates talk it is even worse from their side. I know prison is supposed to be punishment, but no one should have to live in such conditions.

I dnt I'm glad it's helpful helpe keep in touch with my husband never been here but my map is helpful I'll tell you how it is once I visit my husband
