I have been to this place a few times and never really understood how fun it is until actually getting on the playscape.

This is a pleasant enough park and well-maintained, but seriously lacking in mature trees, so kind of looks like a golf course. It does have a very nice large pond /small lake which is frequented by waterfowl and turtles. Nice, clean, but not really exciting or particularly scenic.
This place is tall, almost like a playground for adults (you're so high up). Everything seems new, including a slider that must feel like a roller coaster for kiddos. The best part is the view of the water, where you can enjoy a nice picnic in the park.
Wonderful recreational facility for almost every outdoor need.
