Food is delicious. Large menu to choose from. Service was good and staff is friendly. We had goat curry and fish fry. Just the right amount of heat. Goat was tender and the fish was cooked just right. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.

The food was amazing! I literally smelled it before I walked in the door. Everyone in our group had seconds and thirds! Amazing experience.
My favorite restaurant in Austin for South Indian food. The weekend thaalis are the best. They serve home style food and has the feel of an Indian Mess.nnUpdate (2/8/21): I would hate to say this but the food at Kumar's is not the same anymore. I am not sure if there chefs left during COVID. The taste is not the same anymore. I am being very generous by still rating them 4/5 (mainly because of past glory). I hope the get there act back together and serve the high quality food that they once used to.
