I ordered the 3 meat plate. The portion was finally right. Pulled pork, chicken and beef burnt ends. All good. I ordered the burnt ends. They looked nothing like burnt ends but I got the marbled end of the brisket which I absolutely love. Clean inside. Friendly and the portion was good this time. Keep it up :)

Had a absolutely awesome take out experience the other day. We just moved to the area and needed something quick and easy for a picky family and this location delivered! We'd never eaten at a Dickey's before but will definitely be repeat customers now! Delicious food that was warm, fresh, and the 2 for $24 was such a great deal!

Good BBQ, I love the brisket, sausage, baked potato casserole. I also enjoy the baked potato as well as the mac and cheese.nnAlso, the people who work there are very prompt and helpful. One of the cooks (he may be the owner) has been there seven years now and his suggestions are always welcome.nnMy only complaint would be that they have a very small, dark dining area. But, every time I have had Dickey's Barbecue I done take-out.

The guy who took and prepared my $51 order to go this afternoon was so unfriendly. But, more disappointing was what I found when I got home. The sliced brisket was 50/50 FAT /beef. At first, I thought it was a weird joke. There was so much fat that it's unfit to eat. I've never had anything happen even close to this when ordering sliced brisket. Nasty fat! Dickey's, Hwy 287, Haslet, TX has lost my business. My receipt: 730-322-22846.

Stopped in on Friday, 26 Feb for lunch. What a huge mistake that was. The place looked like a dirty abandoned food truck. The tables and floor were filthy. Pieces of food were everywhere. Our pork tasted like the microwave version you pick up in Walmart deli. 2 people working the lunch rush hour should have been our sign to turnaround and leave. Overall terrible experience and won't be back.
