I'm hesitant to provide this review because I'm greedy and I want Gina all to myself :) I've had the opportunity to work with Gina for close to 6 months and I can honestly say she is the best personal trainer I've ever had! She immediately zeroed in to my goals and formulated sessions that I both needed and enjoyed. I wanted to both lose weight and develop muscles through foundational strength training, and after 6 months, I have lost weight, gained muscle, and most importantly, improved my form and mobility issues. She is extremely thoughtful in her programming, which has enabled me to go from not being able to squat below parallel to fully squatting 120 pounds. Highly recommended!!!
Each workout is different and challenging but manageable. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Great for beginners, someone looking for a little direction, or someone advanced.
We had a chance to workout at Hill Country MVMT doing the Memorial Day Tradition of the Murph Workout. Bane and his wife have created a great gym. Bane is one of the best coaches I have trained under and has created a beautiful clean gym with great equipment. Bane’s programming is amazing. They are also creating a great community. You have to go try out a class. You will be so happy you did.
TRUST THE PROCESS.nI recently finished 12 weeks with Gina and wanted to share my experience. I met Gina though a friend who currently trains with her. But hearing about my friends process/results with Gina and how much she has helped her with her goals, I knew she could help me. I’ve never done any personal training or any small group training, so I knew it was going to be very different. I’ve joined gyms off and on but having that 1x1 attention wasn’t something I was use to. So committing myself to personal training, I knew would be what I really needed to hit my goals.nBefore our first session we met and discussed realistic goals and how she could assist me to stay on track. I had three specific goals in mind; lose weight (15-20 lbs), run one mile, gain strength. She helped me better understand what was needed to achieve my goals. Physical strength was one thing but mental strength would help me push myself past my mental blocks. She encouraged me to lift heavier weights, do assisted chin-ups, dips, bench press, even get on a rower (which I had never done) and plenty more. She gave me confidence in myself to actually make the results I wanted happen.nRun one mile? Sure it seems easy to some, but to me, it wasn’t. She helped me with a running program that not only made me run one mile, but 30 minutes non-stop (so far). I even had a little injury with my running and she helped me take the precautions to be able to workout efficiently while at the same time being able to take care of myself and my capabilities with an injury.nShe continues to kick my butt, each and every workout. I always feel 100 times better after leaving a session with her. Sure I’m sore the next day, but I know the soreness means I worked my butt off the previous day and look forward to doing it again. I really enjoy having Gina keep me accountable. It’s easy to take a day off and not return the next but knowing I have someone on my side, supporting me and motivating me to continue the journey is exactly what I needed. Looking back on my 12 weeks with Gina I know it was the BEST choice to choose her to be my trainer. She’s helped me succeed and push my limits. I’ve lost 15 lbs, gained strength and I’m comfortable running now. She helped me stay on track and know I started this process for a reason. Her confidence in me has made me reason what’s my worth for me. She’s so understanding, supportive and motivating and I recommend her to everyone who’s ready for the best training and motivation one can get in a session.
It's been over 6 months working with Gina every week. I shared with her the other day, I finally feel comfortable in a bathing suit! That's kind of amazing for me. Gina is so knowledgeable in health and wellness, and shares specific information that helps your unique journey. In every session I leave having learned something new to apply in my daily routine to keep me on a healthier path. She knows how to target the main areas that trouble most women, provides tools to apply healthy eating habits, and shares easy things to do at home to compliment the workout she plans for you. She is really inspiring in her dedication and passion for her work, and you can feel that as she motivates you through each workout. Having worked with other trainers before, I can tell you I have never felt more comfortable or more motivated to be my best self. I look forward to many sessions ahead!
