Stacey really knows family law. She is so intelligent, thorough, and honest. I trust her to guide me in the right path on this very difficult journey. Because of her success, she is not hungry for money and will regularly suggest to me ways that will cut my legal fees while serving my best interests. I feel protected by her, which is exactly what I wanted in a lawyer. Opposing parties should and do fear her, which means she is really good.

Stacey, her paralegal Danielle and the entire office staff have been truly amazing. They communicate, complete tasks very quickly, have their client’s best interest at heart. Stacey is very personable, tells you like it is, doesn’t sugarcoat but also doesn’t judge and I have felt very comfortable with her. At the same time she is TOUGH and will get the job done. I went to many lawyers before I picked who I wanted to be represented by and Stacey was absolutely the right choice for me.

While this firm has not represented me, I do have dealings with them. This attorney has represented my former spouse during our child support proceedings and a spurious case from the same former spouse that was recently dismissed after over 3 years for want of prosecution due to a REFUSAL to serve the court papers to me. Additionally, during every time I have spoken with them, I have only been met with open hostility for no reason that I have been informed of. One such example of this was Valdez's statement in court (during our first ever interaction) where she threatened to attack me (not specified how or if it was physical or verbal), depending on what was said next. My rating of 1-star is due to the absolute lack of professionalism I have always encountered from them. If even one of my interactions with this office, other than noted below, was professional and had some form of semi-courteous exchange, I would never have even written this rating/review.nnOn a side note, there was one paralegal there that did try to help get the court documents and get me served in the spurious case, but she was shot down by the higher ups.

Stacey Valdez & Associates can be described as nothing less than PHENOMENAL! She has a strong, commanding presence in the courtroom and doesn’t pull any punches.
