Really nice place.. my first time going.. wasn't sure what to expect. Our tour guide was was good and had. Lot of knowledge of the wines and the grounds. He did rush anyone and answered all the questions asked of him .. the only problem we had was they are experiencing large crowds daily and the need to possibly beef up staff. To accommodate .. Other wise no issues. Everyone seemed happy and the staff was pleasant to talk with. They even have space for live music and out door seating.. parking looks a tight for large crowds but the venue accepting of the crowds. And the place is moderately priced. Didn't get a chance to taste the foods. And yes they have a full kitchen which they can prepare food.
This was my first time there in the evening to hear a band. I love the fact that it's outside and they have good entertainers. I got there early so that we could get a table and was waiting in line for a glass of wine. Two other lines opened up during that time and everyone was confused as to which line to be in because there were no signs telling us any differently. The lines do move slowly since they uncork wines as they serve them. After waiting a good 15 or so I was told I could have my glass of wine, but that I would have to get into another line for a wristband even though I had bought my ticket online and could not get into another line for food until I had my wristband. None of this was explained to head of time and the people giving out the wristbands we're not even there when I got into the line for wine. So then I had to wait in another line for about another 15 minutes to get my wristband and then wait in the food line. I think it was a little disorganized and wish that there had been more instructions and signs explaining things. I understand that they're under construction so the front door is not available and they did have a sign saying to go around to the back but it was behind a parked truck so we did not see that at first. Once we got around to the back we didn't see anyone to go to to check in and really didn't know what to do. There was a lot of confusion for everyone there. The band was great so after all of that was taken care of we had fun but it was very confusing in the beginning.
Had a great time on a girls afternoon out. The vineyard is quaint and peaceful. The tour was super informative and pleasant. We enjoyed our wine tasting and stayed after for more wine and purchased some cheese plates.nThey have a great selection of wines.nnThey have plenty of parking and spaced seating.nnA great way to spend the afternoon with friends and enjoy the good weather. Make sure to make a reservation, and I’d add the cheese plate to the tasting when I go again.
I have been to Haak so many times. Each time I had a wonderful experience. I bought 6 tickets for my friend and I and we went yesterday. Upon arrival to check in for the tour. The young girl at the register was so rude to us and other guests checking in. She was so annoyed, irritated or she didn't want to be there. She even told another employee we were getting on her nerves. I then ask Robin to take which we are so thankful. Robin was so sweet and professional. She kept checking on us and other guests to see if we needed anything. Robin told us there was a band setting up. We decided to purchase tickets for the band! We had a blast! Overall the experience was amazing! Our tour guide was also amazing. I will call today to speak to management about my experience.
We came for the first time for their Easter Hunt Event. The staff was exceedingly friendly, and we had a great time.nnAll of our food was great except for one of our guests. The attendant was more than helpful, listening to her issue, he even gave us a complimentary pitcher of mimosas.nnWe loved the atmosphere and the people and will definitely return.
