I was very impressed after taking my children to a trial class here last week! We brought my four year old to participate in a trial class for children with special needs and the instructors were wonderful! My child is not easy to work with, but the instructors took the time and patience to help my child succeed! They also answered all of my questions and seem to really care about making a difference in the community! We are looking forward to starting classes here very soon!
This is an authentic martial arts! Very lucky to have a descendent if the founding master of Shokotan Karate as a teacher. Highly recommend the place if you want to learn true discipline, form, and character. My only regret is that we live too far to participate regularly.
They have a big sense of community integration and are offering Karate classes designed for people (children and adults) with Autism, Down Syndrome and other special abilities who can’t attend (for now) to regular karate classes. They are inviting us to go to free lessons where we can experience what they have designed for us. Let’s take advantage of this opportunity that will make so many children and adults feel that they are important to our society, that they belong and they are included. Thanks!!
We look forward to every class here! We started going here as we got our twin boys enrolled for Karatte here to continue their Karatte training from Japan and even more importantly as a part of their off-campus PE program at KISD. Shihan Luis Alberte for Shitoryu and Shihan Luis Ganhao for Shotokan are so great and all four of us in the family (including dad and mom) started attending here for past 5 months. These days, we really look forward to every class here. Sensei Daniel who runs this, gives so much importance to family staying together, that fees for two additional members (parents in my case) are waived-off when you pay for any two in the family. We would highly recommend this.
My 4 years old daughter has been attending InnovationLand for several months. Her sensei, Shihan Luis Alberte , is an excellent instructor (internationally recognized) and very nice person. She really enjoys her classes. She started from zero and she has learned a lot. As a parent, I really like the environment of InnovationLand. The instructors really care about the students. I would strongly recommend this place to anybody (all ages) looking for karate classes.
