We visited Mandalay Canal on a free afternoon while in Dallas for a week. The weather was gorgeous and the walk was pleasant. The Lake Carolyn side was actually nicer than the canal side, but both were enjoyable. The canal itself had a good deal of trash in it, which detracted somewhat from the overall effect, but it was a nice place to exercise for an hour or do

It is a nice place to walk around on. This place is ideal for pictures regardless of the occasion. The water in the canal is a bit dirty, and hopefully it does get cleaned up. I can’t wait to go back and finish walking around the whole canal and Lake Carolyn.

This is a hidden gem in Dallas area, located in Las Colinas, Irving. A very peaceful and beautiful scenery walk. It reminds you of the San Antonio river walk, but way less crowded.

It's a great place to go for a walk at night (Thanks Google for an advice). The architectural look is similar to an old Italian city. There are some restaurants. However, due to the pandemic there were no people. It's definitely worth visiting if you live in the Dallas Fort worth area. Beautiful place.

Well, if you're looking for a cool place to go for a photoshoot.... Every one else will be there as well. Wedding photos (which I was a part of), high school senior photos, quinceneras, couples, etc. This is a cool atmosphere for photos. They have gondolas rides as well. Aside from that, there is really nothing open down here.nnIt's a cool spot to hang out and take photos before you go to a bar and drink with friends nearby at the Toyota Music Factory.
