I’ve been to the shop for the last 3 months and Bintou is always very inviting. She did my hair the first time and the next time she have her colleague do my hair. They both did a great job. My husband loves it when I go there and he does not even like braids. As far as paying up front she never made me pay up front I always pay when they finish. Maybe they are skeptical of people who walk in there shop looking crazy so that is why u gotta pay up front. If u walk in looking intimidating and u have someone performing a service for u It’s understandable for them to want be paid if u look like your not going to pay them. U have to realize u can’t walk in looking crazy or with no hair or a funny shaped head and expect your style to look like a picture. Yes a good stylist can recreate a style but if u have nothing to work with u can’t be mad at them. Over all I’ve had a pleasant experience
