This place should have an average 5 star rating. We visited to see the fall colors and we were not disappointed. Park is larger than it seems. Beautifully landscaped and we'll maintained. Parking lot is small but that's the only criticism and not worth knocking points for. A must stop if you visit or live in or near Seattle.
It is a very beautiful park. On this sunny autumn afternoon, there were a lot of people. But it did not feel really crowded. Probably because the park was large. 95% of people wore masks. People were friendly to each other and took turn to take photos at attractive spots. Parking is very very limited. But plenty of free street parking by the park.
How cool! What a well maintained property! I literally saw 3 different people doing their wedding here today and its mid October so many different types of plants in different types of sceneries like big maze filled with beautiful plants, trees, and even some water areas. I must come back during the Spring. Took some awesome photos here. Like MANY other families were doingnCon- small parking area not sufficient fornthe crowd I saw
Hidden beautiful neighborhood park with lots of space, flowers, ponds and hidden nooks. Many couples spotted on dates here, so romantic! Great for wedding photos. Free to visit and free parking. Parking is limited to a small lot.
Absolute zen like bliss in the middle of an extremely active neighborhood. You can literally just wander around and get lost in bliss amongst the trees, bushes, pagodas and fresh air. Many hidden nook's for a great picnic. Rough last couple of health days for me so this was a perfect afternoon mental health walk with my partner. Very quiet and relaxing and a reset for the start of week. I've lived in Seattle for over 20 years and I just discovered this gem. I'm definitely revisiting. Highly recommend it.
