We love this place! My son has made tremendous strides in only two short months! Coach Jon is fair, consistent, and treats his students with the same respect he demands. He is patient and thorough with all his students. Every class he walks out smiling with a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie that Coach Jon instills in all his students. He truly practices what he preaches. We will continue to bring our child here until they shut the doors.... which we hope is never.
Our 7 year old daughter loves classes here! Coaches are very professional and great with even the most reserved children. My daughter’s confidence has absolutely grown ten fold. We love it!
Top notch all the way around...I couldn't speak/think more highly of head instructor Prof. Jon Hunter (owner- operater). He runs a tight ship and genuinely cares about every single student (child and adult). Additionally, the social environment is phenomenal. Parents, staff, students are all super cool and great to be around. The instruction is second to none. Respect, effort, technique, and discipline are cornerstones at CJJF Texas. We are very fortunate to have found this place. Our son absolutely loves Coach Jon and the gym as a whole. He is always looking forward to going to class and has learned so much already! I’m thrilled to have found a place where he’s genuinely happy to attend and train.
My son's confidence and skill on the mat have grown more at CJJF in the last 3 months than the entire year of training at his previous school. He really looks forward to the BJJ Competition class on Fri. nights. It's been wonderful watching his progress. Jonathon is smart, and he is a good teacher who leads by example. You'll immediately notice his values reflected in the students and families that have been with him over the years. They are all hard-working, humble, and extremely helpful.
