Its a average school.nNot as special.nNot as good.nThere are some really good teachers and some that don't put much effort into teaching the material.n7th grade is a best year at Sylvester, a larger capacity of good teachers.n8th grade you might want to move.nBut it depends on the teachers you get which you don't have much control over . Just like at any other school.nThe school focuses on the importance of college rather than how to get into college through high school.nBut at the end, the people you surround yourself with in school makes the experience better.

It can get a little ratchet here and there this school is still pretty average overall but when you meet those few good friends stick with them trust me keep your circle small and make sure your friends are supportive of you

Sylvester Middle School is an amazing school. The teachers really want you to learn. Especially Mrs. Walker, who helped me get into Raisbeck Aviation High School. This women will teach you everything you need to know about science, and this will help the student once they reach high school. I still stay in contact with her because she is supportive and helps me even if I am not in her classroom. The students who don't like this teacher must understand that it may be you the student and no the teacher. Mrs. Walker is a great person to know and she will help in your Sylvester experience and high school as well. If you are a 7th grader reading this; get to know Mrs. Walker and act good in her class.
