Have eaten here before in the past and the food was good but always had it delivered. First time going here in a few years and was very disappointed. Food tasted great but a lot of the workers were not wearing masks during this time of pandemic didn’t see them wearing gloves in the back. Ordered online and waited about 25 minutes to go get the food and they hadn’t even made a very easy salad yet. Will update on whether I get corona virus or food poisoning.
Pizza is very , very good. Ingredients fresh and tasty. Everything is fresh. You can taste it. I have tried most of the menus never was disappointed. Delivery always on time.
I have never had a bad pizza from Verona's until tonight! Ordered a large Vegetariana Pizza and not only was there almost no sauce but, the olives were rancid. I ended up throwing the pizza away...for 25.00, I expect quality. Additionally, one of the workers was not wearing a mask...
If you don't want to feel cheated when you get your pizza, go here. Stacked, greasy, hot. Their crust isn't my favorite but I imagine it's hard to get a crust to hold up under all that weight. Flavor is spot on! Definitely greasy, tho. The place wasn't spotless and honestly, that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I'll still order from them again (and again, every pizza I've had is the same- stacked, greasy, and hot...mmmmmm).
