Great nature area. Very close to Spring Hill, where I live. Lots of wildlife and interesting plants. Also a very good hike and cave.
Trail from parking area is primarily level and goes downhill slightly as it heads north toward the Duck River. Parallels the interstate as closely as 20 yards in some areas. Although flat it is very overgrown and comes to a dead end before the river so if you want to make it to the river plan to do some serious bushwhacking. Also make sure to have something to sweep ahead as you walk because trail is covered with spiders webs. Nice geology and some beautiful flora along the way though.
Great place for a hike. Beautiful cave which opens on the bank of the Duck River. Jerusalem and Vulture Caves are spectacular and safe.
