First time on this hike but it was good. Mostly shaded there are a few sunny areas but not too bad over all. Trail is not well marked. There are a few forks in the trail and we went on one large loop and added a few steps.
Head up canyon toward Mantua and just as you merge onto 89 pull off to the right at the travel info sign and you are there.

The actual trail is a pretty nice and easy hike, about an hour each way. There is not a market for the trail and it's right by the side of the highway so you have to be looking out for it. The trail just follows the highway for quite a while in the foothills. There are areas where boards have been laid to clear a path, the boards are somewhat rickety in places.
A hidden gem! This is one of those "blink and you'll miss it" spots. It's certainly more aggressive trail for biking if you're not accustomed to uphill rides, and the sheer cliffs can be a little intimidating, but this is one of my favorite spots to bike.
Good trail was able to take me in my little kids and family up had a lot of fun
Gorgeous hike that is pretty easy. In the early summer there are gorgeous flowers at the top.
