Sunny Side Up Restaurant. We go to breakfast every day.
The lady who took my order on the phone was the nicest part of the experience. She was sweet & friendly. When I went to pick it up, nobody greeted me nothing so the customer service was blah. I ordered the steak, eggs, home fries with homemade sour dough. NOTHING was seasoned, steak was over cooked and tough. Eggs tasted watery, it was just an all around disappointing meal. I usually give a place a chance or 2 cause things happen, but I’m not sure I would cause seasoning is seasoning on any day. I waited 4 years cause I was skeptical..and I was right to be. The portion was good though.
In the classic diner scene, they set the standard for how to do it right. Good food, friendly and fast service, good prices, easy parking. Very happy that we went there.
Staff are friendly, quickly gave me a menu and took drink request. Nice selection of breakfast items. Ordered regular stack of pancakes, side of bacon. Enjoyed bacon, pancake order was large. The inside of pancakes was nice, however the outside edge was chewy. Next time I will get eggs and bacon/sausage.
Turns out after more checking into things that my issue was not with the restaurant itself but with Door Dash and how they handled some things (you can see the manager's response to my original post below to see more about that). After learning of the mixup I wanted to change my review to note that the restaurant has good food and I recommend eating there or ordering take out. However, order direct with Sunny Side Up and do not use a 3rd party ordering company like Door Dash.
