Great new park. Had two schnauzers with us. Took them for a loop and let them run in the dog park before and after. They had a great time. The park is a really nice addition to the west side of Norman.
The walking trails are nice.nnThere are three separate sections of the dog park, none of which are labeled for large/small dogs, though the main sign says that they are. Each section also has a gate to the adjacent section, and the gates are not secure, so beware.nnLots of room for the pooch to run around.
This place is very new and it shows. It has the bones for what I think will be a great dog park once it becomes a bit more popular. As of right now there are no benches in the dog park portions, which isn't a huge deal but would be nice. It's also very very empty, had the whole park to myself for about an hour until I left.
This review is for the disk golf part of Ruby Grant Park. New and nice with some easy holes and some hard. Plenty of open space and is not crowded. Overall super place to play, but this place does have some minor issues. You will find it is very close to IH 35 and on the east side you will hear the traffic. On the south side a line of high power lines are in view. This park is not yet complete as not all the holes have official signs and some areas look like they are still under construction.
4th Disc Golf Course in Norman Ok. Cant say much about the dog park or playgrounds. If your looking for a challenging disc golf experience...Ruby Grant wont disappoint.
