Beautiful day before a storm.nNo boundary cables(safety) at this outlook though.nFills up fast by watchers.
We went on a day trip to the mountains and stopped by The Mast General Store in Valley Cruces. An employee told us about some scenic drives close by that we did go on. Such beautiful views to see the mountains. The roads weren't really crowded, so you could drive slower and really soak in the views. Highly recommend some of the roads less traveled around Boone, you won't be sorry you did

This is just minutes from where I grew up and is always somewhere I go when I visit home. Beautiful day and night.
Fall colors are breathtaking! Mountains here are so beautiful year round but fall has all the season's beat
