Sugar Magnolia Cafe

We went for a tea party for my toddler and her friend and can’t say enough good things. The customer service is over the top amazing. Food was great! Highly recommend and would visit again.

Sugar Magnolia Cafe is a delightful little spot located in historic downtown Wake Forest offering tasty salads, sandwiches, and an assortment of coffees and teas. They also offer special spreads for tea time, which harkens back to the origin of this location as the English Tearoom. It has become a favorite. The front window looks out on the small-town main street and is always seasonally decorated, so it kind of feels like you're in a Hallmark movie. They've managed to continue their offerings during 2020 and are currently offering indoor seating with walk-up ordering and to-table service. They also have a few cute, small tables outside. It is the sort of place you could meet with a friend, read a book, or whip out your laptop and get a little work done. I feel comfortable bringing my infant. They also sell cute local gifts!

The employees were so nice! They checked on us at our table, and whenever we needed something like extra stevia or ice they said sure! Absolutely, we’ll have it right there! And their tea was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place!

What a friendly staff and great ambience. I really enjoyed all of the coffee they served here.

My friend and I come here almost once a week. We absolutely love this place ! Not only is the tea/food delicious, Ashlynn (I hope I spelled her name right !) is an absolute delight. She always makes our visits wonderful. Definitely recommend this fabulous place.
