Valerie has been a God send! I was very nervous to meet with a financial advisor and was very overwhelmed with the idea of where to even start. I met Valerie in a networking group where I heard her share her true passion for helping women become financially independent. After listening to her and getting to know her I knew she was someone I could trust and I felt very comfortable scheduling an appointment with her to discuss my financial needs. During our initial meeting Valerie patiently explained many things about investing. She repeated things I didn’t quite understand and she even drew me an example on her whiteboard when I wasn’t fully understanding. Since I was so unfamiliar with investing I really needed everything explained. Valerie made sure I understood everything and never made me feel rushed or dumb (which I was afraid I would fell). Instead, I got an education that day and was thrilled to have learned so much about investing in my future. Valerie guided me through some of my divorce issues to ensure I was represented correctly for a transfer of funds. She truly has my back and I am so grateful to have met her. I had a previous Edward Jones rep in Bolingbrook, Illinois who did that and because he didn't listen to me lost me money.
