I haven't flown in a long time and wanted a refresher. Eric, one of Seaplane's CFI's, and I departed from Boeing Field and did some air work over his favorite practice area towards Mt. Rainier. Also discussed the Seattle airspace and did a touch-and-go at Auburn. Very informative and fun. I'll fly with Eric again.
We had an amazing time. Our pilot was knowledgeable and extremely kind to us. I’ve never done anything like this before, but I will definitely do it again. I highly recommend Seaplane Scenics to anyone wanting to have a great time. It was well priced and worth the memories.
After flying with multiple aviation schools around the country I reached out to Seaplane Scenics and was quickly onboarded and back to working towards my PPL. My instructor, Oren, was knowledgeable, informative, and fun to fly with as my instructor. I would recommend flying with this school for the aspiring pilot that wants more for their buck than most other schools around.
James was nothing less than amazing. He spent extra time explaining flying to my son and was super interactive before, during and after the flight. It was a really informative and unforgettable flight with a very unique perspective of the city to say the least. Far exceeded my expectations!
This is by far, the smallest aircraft I've been inside, so I wasn't really expecting the fear-of-death pangs that reverberated through my body once we were airborne and at the mercy of the bay breezes.nnThankfully, our pilot, James, was a jovial fellow with a good command of his craft. A short three minutes later I felt my pucker give way to a state of enrapturement at the Seattle skyline from several hundred feet in the air.nnThere is a certain giddiness that comes from laughing in the face of your own mortality, especially with James on the mike.nnThe time will fly by and before you know it, you'll be descending back to Boeing Field. It's so surprising to realize how little runway this plane needs in order to land.nnIf you forget to bring cash for a tip, like I did, you can Zelle at a later date
