Runway is 01 -19 and is 36’ wide. If I remember correctly, the threshold to 01 is 40’ lower than the threshold of 19. So landing toward the south is a little tricky. Coming in with too much speed in that direction and you’ll skate in ground effect all the way down the hill. On the other hand landing on 01 is a breeze in my opinion.nnI rented a 152 out there in the mid ‘90s. Don’t know if there is still an FBO there or not.
I have found the people to be friendly and accommodating! A great place to fly from.
I live right up the street from here and the kid that runs it is rude and just hard to get along with. Others have said the same thing. Wish I could bring my planes up here and I wouldn't have to travel so far to fly. When I have a better experience there I will change my rating since I have no experience with anyone else, he is the one always here.
