Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

Visited on a Friday evening about an hour before close. Place was mostly empty, with only one other person in a chair getting a highlight. I thought that it'd be a great time to get a cut since there wouldn't be a wait. A blonde lady said she could take me so I sat in a chair to wait. She proceeded to walk to the back room and disappeared. Never did come back. I finally got up and left. Maybe she was taking a break? Not sure what happened there but I was disappointed at the lack of communication. If she had said she was busy or tired I wouldn't have waited around.

I'm very picky about who does my hair, but this salon went above and beyond with my visit. I was a little skeptical at first because of all the new staff members...but they ceased to disappoint! I was greeted immediately and didn't have to wait long at all. My stylist was Ali and she was AMAZING! Not only was she welcoming, but she was very personable and attentive. She asked me a bunch of questions about my hair before getting started -- which I appreciated since my hair is very tousled and not a lot of stylists know how to tackle a bed head like mine. I came in set on a color idea, but Ali gave me a color better than the one I had chosen before. I will definitely be returning in the future!

It had been 2 years since my last haircut (life happens) so I went in with a little bit of anxiety... but I was greeted with friendly, smiling faces. I had Cindy as my stylist and she was amazing. I can't wait to go back again.

We were dutifully ignored upon walking in, then once we sat down were told we had to fill out a form at the desk. No problem, done. Sat back down and Cindy ushered my husband to the chair and began pressuring him to let her wash his hair. He stated that he did not need his hair washed since he just washed it 30 minutes ago in the shower. She got nasty with him saying she couldn’t cut it without washing it and he made the decision to not have her cut his hair. She had a nasty attitude to both of us at this point which led to me not getting my hair cut either. I made it clear when making the appointments that we didn’t want wash or style, just haircuts and if this was a problem they should have said so at that time. I would not recommend this place, nor will we ever go to another Fantastic Sam’s. Cindy made this experience awful for all of us.

This place is nice but the turn over is very high. Have not had my hair cut by the same person.
