We’ve been to multiple trout ponds in This area. This was def the best place!! The owners were awesome and spent so much time with us and the boys! Even my 2 year old caught 2 giant trout!! The fish were big healthy and quality was definitely above any we’ve seen before! The fish were just jumping out of the water and we caught 8 in 30min! Unlike other places, there’s no upfront fees and bait and poles tackle etc all free! They’ll even clean the fish without an up charge! The owners cleaned the fish and included the kids and made it super fun fir them to learn about fish parts and tongues and teethnAll areas including restrooms were super clean and people were nicely spaced out at several areas of a giant pondnWhat a great experience for everyone!!nThe gem mine was super fun too and again the owners participated and taught kids the types of rocks and things they can find.nWe will definitely come back again!nFor the first time I didn’t have to fight with fish bones as the owner taught me how to remove the skeleton in one swift move!! Cooked fish was sweet not fishy tasting and meat was thick and flaky! We grilled it and enjoyed! Thank you again

Perfect place for ANYONE to catch trout. The owners made for an very enjoyable time! Highly recommend this trout pond! Clean restrooms also which was nice for the family. GREAT FOR KIDS!

Awesome place! The fish were big. The people were nice. And the atmosphere was out of this world! Me and my boy caught tons of fish. If you’re looking to catch some trout, this is the spot!

We have been meaning to stop by for quite some time & I'm so glad we did! Everyone was so friendly & helpful & not only did my daughter have a blast, we all did! We will definitely be going back the next time we visit NC.

Had a great time with the family catching some dinner and finding gems. Very scenic place and super friendly owners.
