We were having issues getting my wife's car started this week. I called around to all the shops in the Chapel Hill/Pittsboro (and beyond) area. None of them seemed to have the time of day to hear what was going on with the car and insisted that I just needed to bring it in to be diagnosed. Alex at J&W asked me many questions about what was going on, and even told me a few possibilities of what it could be that was causing it. He also gave me brief estimated quotes for each possibility the first time we talked. We brought it by on a Wednesday, although they wouldn't be able to work on it until Friday. But it was fixed on Thursday ahead of schedule. They called me throughout the day to give me updates on what they had found and how much the necessary parts would be. I will continue to use J&W during my time in NC. Everyone at J&W was very kind and they took great care of my wife's car. Although I hope we don't have many auto issues in the near future, I do look forward to bring my vehicles to J&W again. Thanks for taking care of us!

This is the most honest auto shop I have ever been to. Quick turn around time and everyone is so nice. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

I've been going to JW for 5+ years - never had a single issue. Honest. Fast. Affordable. I moved to Durham 2 years ago but still bring my car all the way back out to Pittsboro if I need any work done.

They were able to do my oil change right away, both quick and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for repair work, literally hundreds less than the dealerships. This is a small family run operation that really do seem to care about their customers and not just their wallets.nI highly recommend J&W automotive.
