It's only about 400 feet from the parking lot and you can go sliding down the waterfall in different places. Plus there are multiple pools of water to play or swim in our kids love it. We take tubes it's great.

It was pretty but wayyyy too crowded to enjoy at 11 and not much parking so we had to wait a while for a spot. Would need to come right when the park opens because we could barely move on the trail and around the falls due to so many people being there. We hiked to the top but the view is obstructed by downed trees so that was a bummer. Lots of people were sliding down the rocks in the lower falls and some had tubes. A bunch of dogs enjoying the water too. Looked fun! May come back another time to play in the water.

The same as I always remember as a child. They have recently made more parking available which is helpful. Kids love it to slide down the rocks. Bring a trash bag to tie around you and slide or bring an inner tube.
