The moving team, headed by Jose, wrapped our furniture to ensure they were protected and took care to place our items in the truck with care. They worked quickly, efficiently, and seemed to take ownership that our possessions would arrive in one piece. In November 2020, my wife and I hired Bargain Movers & Storage to relocate all of our household goods from our 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home in Damascus, MD to our new home in New Freedom, PA, which is about a 1.5 hour drive from Damascus.nBargain Movers sent a estimator to our home weeks before our required move date to evaluate what materials and services we required, and the amount of furniture and household goods that needed to be moved. Their FIRM quote was considerably lower than that of another local moving company from which I solicited a quote.nOn Moving Day, Bargain Movers arrived at my Damascus home right on time with all the materials, equipment, personnel and trucks needed tonload and transport are household. The moving crew was very friendly, strong, energetic and efficient! They wrapped every piece of furniture (chairs, tables, couches, beds, mattresses, etc.) to prevent any scratching or damage. I was astounded that they packed out our entire house in just over 4 hours!nSince we didn't have access to our new house in PA until after our real estate settlement date, Bargain Movers parked the loaded moving trucks at their nearby facility in Maryland for three nights (for a reasonable storage fee).nOn Move-in Day, the crew arrived right on time at our new house in PA and efficiently offloaded the trucks, unwrapped all the furniture, assembled the beds, delivered all the boxes to the designated rooms. Believe it or not, the crew finished the off loading of our entire household into our new home in just 5 hours!
